Eagle Brook Church

The church we attend asked us to write a story about how faith changed our life.  Below are two small excerpts from the story written by Scott.  Our story was published in CANVAS magazine, Volume 3, 2012/13.

My wife Amanda and I began attending Eagle Brook eight years ago and call the Blaine campus our hole. We were drawn to this church because we could apply the messages to our everyday lives. Little did we know we would also be applying those messages to the most difficult and painful event of our lives.

There's nothing in this world that compares to the pain of losing a child, but we take comfort in knowing that God has a bigger plan and purpose for our lives.

Canine Crossing December Newsletter

We were lucky enough to have our friends at Canine Crossing add part of our story to their December Newsletter. Here is the excerpt:

I would like to share with all of you two local organizations that are near and dear to our hearts.

The first one being Eden's Garden. I did not have the privilege of meeting this beautiful little girl, but through her parents Scott and Amanda sharing their journey Eden and her twin sister Reagan have touched my heart in so many ways. I went to school with Amanda and wanted to share the wonderful mission her and her husband have started to keep the legacy of Eden going.

Eden's Garden is a non-profit organization. Eden's Garden mission is to provide families going through the journey of being in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with resources and financial support.
