Another sweet boy and his family need our help! Benedict was born full term last month but shortly after birth his family was very afraid for his precious life. Benedict was diagnosed with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. CDH is when a hole forms in the diaphragm and the baby's organs usually including the intestines are in the lung space. Ben was immediately brought into a very scary surgery and then placed on a very scary but lifesaving machine called ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) which essentially works as his heart and lungs until he is strong enough to do so on his own.
Benny is no longer on ECMO but is still at risk for blood clots. He requires oxygen currently but is getting stronger everyday. He will have a journey of full recovery that will not be easy. His family which 5 older siblings are excited for him to come home and are praying each day for their special brother. Eden’s Garden is honored to be able to offer this special family a gift to make their journey just a little bit easier for the entire family.
It’s with your support that Eden’s Garden can continue to help families like this one. Please go to http://edensgardenmn.org/donate/ to donate today! Thank you.
